GOP needs to back Mills to unseat Baldacci

So Donna Loring has joined the Republican Party to support Peter Mills' campaign for governor (Dec. 30). Well, as a conservative Democrat, I've been thinking about doing the same. Gov. John Baldacci lacks the leadership necessary to take Maine forward, leadership Mills has.
If Republicans are serious about attracting more people to the party and taking back the Blaine House, they need to get behind their candidate, Mills. No other Republican candidate will stand a chance against Baldacci in the general election. Mills will secure Republican, independent and conservative Democrats' votes; Mills will secure the Blaine House.
I think City Hall opens on Tuesday. I'm registering Republican.
